Located in the North West of Poland, Kolobrzeg is a coastal town. A tourist town to be precise, accommodate to many dutch and german retirees. There are many medical facilities such as chiropractor clinics and massage parlors. Summer times are their busiest seasons, where the beach are crowded. However, it doesn't mean that there aren't things to do for all ages.
The following are the Top 5 places that I recommend you visit. First, let's start by introducing myself. I'm your charming and Sexy host, Tha Haitian. Traveling is one of my favorite hobbies. I hope my content will inspire you to visit these places and witness some of the beauties for yourself.
Walk on the Beach
You may not think much of it, But Kolobrzeg has one of the most cleanest and beautiful beaches in Poland. The Scenery is fantastic, and goes on for kilometers. Populated by the seagulls and seashells, it is a great place to find some of the smoothest and colorful rocks to add onto your collection. If you're into that sort of things.
From there, you can choose to check out the various restaurants nearby, or visit the Pier further down as you walk.
The Pier of Kolobrzeg
Every good coastal city or town need a good Pier, especially if it's a tourist spot. Kolobrzeg is no different. Witnessing the waves crashing against the rocks at the sea water shoots up several meters up in the sky is a beautiful sight.
if you're a skeptic when it comes to love, then this scenery may change your mine. As only Love between Men and Nature can create something so beautiful and magnificent. If you're already a romantic, then This is the perfect place to propose to your significant other.

The Outdoor Market
You're bond to come across the Outdoor market on your way to the Beach. Not too far from the Duine Hotel, The outdoor market is located along the walkway through the public park. Then it proceeds all the way to the Pier.
There, you can buy souvenirs, toys, as well as amenities to take to your hotel. There is a mini mall as well called Galeria Molo where you can purchase groceries. If you wish to cook in your airbnb instead of eating out.
If you decide to eat out, there are also plenty of restaurants and Kiosk all along the way. You can get a zapiekanka or hotdog, as well as some of the local cuisine Poland is known for.
Ship Boarding
Not Far from the lighthouse, there are ships schedule which you can purchase tickets to board for a tour along the coast line. You can board a pirate ship, a world war 2 military vessel, as well as countless other themes.
The tickets are affordable, and the schedule varies. Unfortunately, I can't give you first hand account of any boat ride, as I did not board the ship this time around. That is definitely something I will have to do next time around.
The Light House
Last but not Least is the Kolobrzeg Lighthouse. It is a landmark of this beautiful touristy town. After purchasing a ticket, I climbed the narrow stares and made it all the way to the top. Inside, there are display of old photograph of the history of the town of Kolobrzeg.
But the true beauty lies once you reach the very top of the lighthouse. From there, you get a full view of the town and all of its glory. You get to see the beautiful architecture, a mixture of German and old slavic heritage. The market and the people looking like ants. The ship from a distance, and the pier. All of which would create the perfect painting. I have yet to work on that.
In conclusion, Kolobrzeg is an amazing town. It's a great place for couples to visit for a romantic get away. Artist will have plenty to see and to be inspired. Older folks are also well care for, as there are plenty of clinics.
I definitely recommend Kolobrzeg as part of your destination when you are in Poland. However, I would avoid the hype of summer. Even though the weather would be perfect, but it is often overcrowded. It may be harder or pricier when it comes to lodging and accommodation.
