LAZY DAY OFF OR GO FOR A WALK

After working your butt off driving all over America, I finally had a day off. I worked for six days, drove about 3000 miles on the semi. So, I had the choice to either have a lazy day or go for a walk.
The common sense part of my brain is begging me to relax, and I've earned the right to have a lazy day. Then, that's the same attitude that got me fat not too long ago. As a smart man once said: “Quit Being a Bitch And Come On!” Walking It Is Then.
Health Benefits

There's a lot of benefits in taking a walk, especially when you spend most of your time behind the wheel. Since I've included walking in my exercise routine, my joints felt a lot less stiff. Walking is used as an addition to my exercise, when I slack off on my intense work out routine.
My stamina has improved, along with my stomach. My digestive system feels a lot better, and lighter. Unlike running that over time damages your knee joints, walking is just natural, and less strenuous on your body.
Thus, instead of staying in my truck during my reset; I grabbed my headset and headed out to explore the local neighborhood.
Amazing Scenery

You'd be amazed by the beauty of your surroundings if you simply pay attention. Whether it's the Halloween decorations in Suburban America, or the hidden bench at a Rest Stop as the Sun set; beauty is all around us.
It is such beauty that inspires the creativity within us. The declaration we make with a snap of a picture that says “I was Here!”. With the enthusiasm that our friends and family get to see a little corner of the world through our lenses.
As an artist, I take these pictures so I can later paint on rocks or canvases. Since I also create content for social media, walking is a perfect opportunity to do my TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube shorts.

Alas, after an hour of browsing through this region in Iowa. My walk has come to an end. I came across a couple of interesting things such as the Church, the Halloween decoration in one of the houses, and a corn field.
The best part was, me burning some calories and I didn't have to run. I hope this blog encourages you to get you active, and improve your health.
In the meantime, feel free to browse my social media. You can find me on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. You can also check out my store and find something for your liking.
